In a move that surprises no one who's paid any attention at all, the Trump regime has announced that it is pausing all immigrant visa applications and is considering revoking up to 200,000 already-approved visas.

The regime has been feeding the public the lie that they are only targeting the "worst of the worst" of illegal immigrants in their deportation efforts. But from the very beginning, they've been targeting the "easiest" people to capture by going after people actively working with the justice department to seek legal immigration status. Now, the regime is dropping all pretenses that this is anything other than trying to remove non-white people from the country.

Last year, Donny 2-Dolls tried to launch a trade war with the entire world by slapping wild tariffs on imports from just about every other country. The Supreme Court ruled that he did not have the authority to levy these tariffs, which is a power that lies with Congress, not the president.

Never one to learn from past mistakes, Trump is trying again, using a Great Depression-era anti-discrimination law to try to justify the new tariffs. It's highly unlikely that these new tariffs will hold up better than his last attempt, but while the courts try to sort out the mess he's making, Americans will be paying more for Canadian goods starting in 2027.
