Impeach. Convict. Remove.
Recap of this week in the revolution: ABC sues FCC over censorship. Hegseth uses military schools to promote propaganda lies. National debt hits new high and Trump plans military invasion of Latin America.
The good...
The FCC has threatened to strip local ABC stations of their broadcast licenses because the Trump regime doesn't like some of the content broadcast by Disney-owned ABC stations, especially commentary on the daytime talk show The View.
The purpose of the licenses issued to broadcasters is to ensure that they use the public airways they control in the public interest. Traditionally, that has been understood to mean that these broadcasters were serving their local communities by sharing information about weather, sports, and news.
Shows like The View provide commentary on current events that is understood to be protected by the First Amendment right to free speech, and is perfectly acceptable under FCC regulations. It's worth noting that similar opinion-sharing shows that support the current regime are not being threatened with loss of their licenses.
The bad...
Pete Hegseth wants to promote his Christian Nationalist lies in public schools on U.S. military bases. A new western civilization course is being offered based on a curriculum developed by a Christian school in Michigan that pushes patriotic notions giving students the false impression that Christianity and western civilization are under attack by Islam, among other threats.
The program claims to offer a classical education, but instead focuses on delivering a biased view of world history, putting the Christian faith and western ideals at the center of the story and downplaying the contributions of other religions and cultures around the world.
This new curriculum is in line with the Trump regime's revisionist history that wants to hide the true but unflattering parts of American history from students and push the false belief that the existence of differing viewpoints or religions represents a threat to the very existence of America and even God, and that students have to oppose those differences of opinion in order to protect their own heritage.
The ugly...
In less than two years in office, Donny 2-Dolls has added over $4 trillion to the U.S. national debt, bringing the total to a new all-time high of $40 trillion. Despite a promise to reign in government spending and the disastrous work of DOGE, the Trump regime has driven the national debt to an all-time high.
If you think times are tough now, they are only getting worse as Trump and his army of incompetents continue to drive up the debt. The more we borrow, the more we have to pay in interest, which means that with every passing year, we have less tax revenue available to spend because we are spending more and more money on interest payments on our debts.
Currently, the U.S. has the worst fiscal position of all developed countries, according to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.

For months now, the United States has been destroying boats in the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean, killing everyone onboard. They claim that these boats are being used to smuggle drugs into the United States, but have yet to provide any evidence that any of the people they've killed were actually smuggling drugs. Now, the regime is ordering the U.S. military to invade Latin America by land to expand its indiscriminate killing spree even further.
There's no question that the United States has a major drug problem. But there's also no evidence that killing hundreds of people without any judicial process has done or will do anything to address that problem. Instead, this is just an excuse for the Trump regime to bully countries in Central and South America into ceding their autonomy to the United States. Trump campaigned on putting America First, and has instead spent his entire second term in office violating international law and pushing American involvement in countries around the world while letting the United States fall into economic and political turmoil.
