  Choose-one, winner-take-all elections do not adequately represent the will of the people. There are many proposed alternative methods for counting ballots, but not all of them consider the two-sided challenge of assigning representatives: Allowing voters to vote for more than one candidate without "wasting" their vote, and allowing multiple candidates to win in the same election. This article explores one proposed solution that accomplishes both: Proportional Ranked Choice Voting (RCV).
