The good...
Federal judges around the country have been calling out the Trump regime's Department of Justice for its blatant corruption and weaponization of its own powers to attack Donny 2-Dolls' personal enemies.
For most of American history, judges have operated on a principal referred to as the "presumption of regularity"—the presumption that official federal government agents perform their jobs according to the rules and in good faith. That all changed when Trump took office for his second term.
During the current regime's reign, the justice department has shifted from defending the Constitution and the laws derived from it to focusing the full force of the department on pushing through the regime's agenda. Every day, judges are witnessing the regime's Justice Department use "unlawful," "unethical," "unseemly," or "dishonest" tactics in its flagrant disregard for the Constitution and rule of law.
The days of presuming the government, at its core, is at least trying to uphold the law and follow established legal procedures are gone, thanks to Trump and his bootlickers. The worst part is even if the Trump regime is completely replaced by voters over the next few election cycles, it will take decades, at least, before the Justice Department can regain the trust it has so casually tossed aside.

The Trump regime is allowing a prescription drug subsidy program implemented in 2024 to expire this year. The program was established to lower Medicare Part D prescription drug costs as part of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. With the end of this program, Medicare recipients can expect to see an increase in what they have to pay for their prescription drugs starting in 2027.
This move comes in an election year when Americans from both parties identify cost of living as one of their primary concerns. This is a bold and brazen move that lets the people of this country know exactly how little the Trump regime cares about them and the struggles they face.
This is not the first time the Trump regime has raised costs for Americans. The regime has slashed Medicaid funding, allowed health care subsidies under the Affordable Care Act to expire (doubling health care premiums for millions of Americans).
The Trump administration is actively raising prescription drug costs for 25 million seniors...Heartless, cruel, and completely by choice.

Pete Hegseth has been using his position as Secretary of Defense to pressure Scouting America (The organization formerly known as Boy Scouts of America) to eliminate designated spaces for gay youth, women, and scouts of color from their annual National Jamboree gathering.
For a hundred years, the Pentagon has partnered with Scouting America. The military provides logistical support for the National Jamboree and some scout troops use military bases for their meetings. Since its founding, scouting has always been a military-like program in many ways, promoting patriotism and a sense of national duty within its ranks. Yet it is also a private organization that does not answer to the Pentagon or the U.S. government in any way.
Pete is busy unraveling that century-old relationship, demanding that Scouting America change its policies and threatening to cease the military's long-running support of the organization if it refuses to comply with his demands to eliminate all support for any kind of diversity within the program. The Pentagon is "vigorously reviewing" all changes made by Scouting America and will stop supporting the program if they don't comply by August.

The Trump regime has admitted that it canceled clean energy grants worth at least $7.6 billion based solely on the fact that the programs were located in states that were won by Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election. Energy Secretary Chris Wright and several other officials in the Trump regime had previously lied in their public claims that the projects were canceled because they failed to address the nation's energy needs or had underlying business problems.
But when the move was challenged in court, the Trump regime admitted that the only reason these programs were cut is because their home states supported Harris. The decision had nothing to do with whether the programs were beneficial to the United States or even whether the people in charge of those programs were not Trump supporters. It's just another attempt for the regime to try to leverage the full power of the federal government to punish states that don't support him.
The regime that claims it is establishing a meritocracy has openly admitted that merit played no part in its decisions to cut funding for innovative American companies providing new jobs in emerging technology fields. To add insult to injury, the money that should have gone to these companies is instead being used to line the pockets of the CEOs of a handful of fossil fuel projects.
This administration has now admitted in court what has long been obvious: it terminated nearly 300 cost-cutting energy projects for no reason other than the fact that the states they were in did not vote for the president in the 2024 election...
Weaponizing the federal government like this is outright un-American, and it’s hardworking families already struggling with sky-high costs who are suffering the consequences of this corrupt abuse of power.

Russell Vought is the director of the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB), an agency that traditionally holds a lot of power in the government. It establishes policies for all federal employees and controls the disbursement of all funds appropriated by Congress.
But Vought is taking that power to a whole new level, using the power of his position to base all government action on carrying out the Trump's personal agenda without even pretending to care about what's best for the country. It was Vought who redirected funding from the Defense Department to build Trump's border wall and pressured Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden's son, Hunter, during Biden's 2020 campaign. He spent the four years of the Biden administration planning out what would happen if Trump was re-elected in 2024. When Trump took office in 2025, Vought directed the entire executive branch of government to slash all foreign assistance, push the limits of presidential power to new extremes, refused to spend Congressionally-appropriated money, fired tens of thousands of federal employees, and abandoned all government DEI programs.
We work for the President of the United States...[but] it feels like we work for Russ Vought. He has centralized decision-making power to an extent that he is the commander in chief.
